Newport!

Yesterday we went to Newport, RI for the day. (We had not been back to that area since our wedding . . .) We were very excited to take Noah to Breton Point Park and watch the kiteflying.

We went on a sailboat around Newport Harbor!

And, of course, we couldn't pass up the opportunity to drive by the place where we got married (but they were setting up for a wedding, so we had to quickly sneak away, but we did manage to get this picture of the sign for the Portsmouth, RI Town Hall - where our marriage certificate is!)

Here are some videos of us watching the kites flying at Breton Point Park!

Back to the Children's Museum!

What a difference six months makes! Now Noah can really enjoy the pool of mauve goop . . . The pre-walker padded room in the toddler area at the Children's Museum is really great - There is even a little kitchenette there so you can eat with your toddler. We are thinking of becoming members . . .I cannot say enough about how fun this museum is (I just wish they still had grandmother's attic!)

FOURTH OF JULY

We had our annual Fourth of July BBQ and pool party at my parent's house - the weather held out and we enjoyed the day, the pool, and the burgers. Noah got to play with the big kids! Here Sophie expresses her preference for the pinot grigio! (Just kidding - I think my brother posed her this way, poor kid!)
