In Honor of Noah's First Revolution Around the Sun

I am staying up late making sugar cookies!!!! (My first time!)

ONE REVOLUTION AROUND THE SUN . . .

Well, today is Noah's birthday - my baby has been alive for one full revolution around the sun!! To commemorate we went to Essex and then later to Crane's Beach. This was Noah's first beach experience and of course like all babies he ate the sand. I expected him to make a face and spit it out but he kept eating it - He loved it! We have now solved his eating issues and found something Noah loves to eat! Unfortunately, I forgot the camera when we went to the beach so we didn't get any "eating sand" pictures - but we also went antiquing! Here are some pictures of Dave and Noah checking out the antique scene in Essex! (Look Mom, Noah is wearing a sun hat!) Of course, the thing about the sun hat is that he doesn't like it and kept throwing it off - one time we were in a store and realized he didn't have it and looked around and finally found it in one of the antique bins - good aim kid!. (And yes mom, he is also wearing sunscreen - SPF 55!)
(Update May 27 - FYI - Sand does not feel so good when it is coming out the other end!)

At the Playground with Sam!

Noah and his friend Sam in the tunnel at the playground - note Dave's nose in the second picture! (Yes, Mom, I am aware that Sam has on a sun hat and Noah doesn't ! :)

Dinner, Ice Cream, and a ride . . .

At the start of Noah's birthday weekend, we had dinner Friday night with Keith, Diane, Ella, and Sophie and then we all walked up town for ice cream! We can't believe that in one more year Noah will be as talkative as Sophie is! Here is a picture of Dave and Diane with Noah and Sophie.

Weekend with the Grandparents

Dave and I went to New York this weekend and Noah stayed with his grandparents - the documentary evidence indicates that he had a great time. He was tuckered out by the end!

Water Baby!

Noah loves taking a bath in the bath tub - so its only natural he'd love swimming too - Today was our first "lesson" at the YMCA - the zero-entry pool was very warm (thankfully) and Noah really seemed to like it although he was a little cautious and not splashing as much as he does in the tub at home.
We're not supposed to bring cameras into the pool area - but we sneaked one in! Like his nifty new shark swimming shirt?
